PIL announce The Public Image is Rotten - North American Tour 2018

 Public Image Ltd will continue their 40th Anniversary Tour with a trek across North America this fall. The latest leg of The Public Image Is Rotten tour kicks off in New Orleans on October 9 and culminates in Mexico City on November 6.

The band is already having a huge year with the first part of the European tour and a couple of Japanese dates recently completed.

 In addition, the documentary, also titled The Public Image Is Rotten, is scheduled to premiere in New York City on September 14, with other dates in other cities to follow. A career-spanning box set by the same name drops on July 20.

North American tour dates are listed below; tickets go on sale Friday, July 13 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased via pilofficial.com

We are pleased to confirm the release of the PiL career box set 'The Public Image is Rotten (Songs from the Heart)' via Universal on July 20th 2018.

The box will be released as a 5 CD & 2 DVD version, along with a 6 LP vinyl version (including download card) and also Digital. The set also includes a 72 page book, poster, prints and is packaged in a unique debossed black and gold foil box.

The box set will feature PiL Singles (1978-2015), B-sides, Rarities and Radio Sessions, 12” Mixes, Unreleased Mixes and Tracks and a live concert from New York Ritz in July 1989. The DVD includes PiL promo videos and footage from the BBC’s Top Of The Pops and Old Grey Whistle Test. Two legendary live concerts are also includes on the DVD, the first PiL’s appearance at the Tallinn Rock Summer Festival in Estonia 1988 and the second from 2013’s Enmore Theatre in Australia during the This is PiL tour.
