so after 17 years PIL returned with a mini tour - which was pretty much a greatest hits set. Most of the gigs, apart from 2, were recorded and released on CD as part of the ALife series. The Glasgow gig wasnt one of them.
Here I give you 2 versions - a half decent quality, edited incomplete recording plus a poor quality full recording.

Hi everyone
cant believe you lot are still looking in and supporting me and my humble blog after so many years.
Thank you all so much for downloading what I have shared and for all your lovely comments and emails down the years, you have kept me motivated and kept me going.
I'm now at the stage where I've literally shared all of my PIL/Pistols and post PIL/post Pistols material with you all.
All I have left is a lot of partial gigs and/or poor quality recordings.
I'm a completest and I know a few of you out there are the same as me , so I'll share the last few PIL recordings that I have in my collection. But I warn you - they are all pretty shite.
I know there's still a few recordings out there in collections that I dont have so hopefully sometime in the future I will get copies and then share with you all.
I am so proud of the fact that since I started the blog I have met some wonderful people and I've managed to track down Master recordings from the original tapers that have not previously been shared. plus I have been lucky enough to track down a couple of dozen PIL gigs that no knew had been recorded.
I still go to gigs, in my spare time I help promote a lot of indie/punk/grunge bands that are around today. I still scan the audiences at gigs to see if i can spot someone recording the gig.
Acid Drops will continue for as long as I can find stuff to share. Its future will probably be in sharing audience recordings of gigs from the current indie scene in the UK, I hope these gigs will be of some interest to some of you.
To think, when I started my first blog, the Sex Pistols/PIL live resource, there were literally hundreds of bootleg/audience recording sharing blogs and now theres very few left.
I'll continue until the blog starts to lose its viewers. At the moment I still get 2-2500 views a month from all over the World, at its height the blog got 5k plus a month.
