Massive Thank you to all of you that follow this blog, that msg and email me and that have sent me things to share. Together we have made this blog pretty damn awesome.
I started my very first ever blog way back in 2008, the Sex Pistols/PIL live Resource. It lasted 18 months before it has to be closed down. But thanks to the support and guidance I received from renowned blogger, Mark Sparky Sparks, I never gave up and Acid Drops was born.
12 years later, I'm still here with Acid Drops. I have met some of you people out there in real life and made some good friends. Through this blog I have got to know many Members of PIL, past and present, and am now very proud to be able to call them my friends.
I'm also very proud of the fact that not only I have shared what has been available elsewhere , a lot of what I have shared has been more complete and better quality than what was previously shared. Also I have been able to share things that were specifically recorded to be shared on this blog plus I have found nearly 30 PIL recordings and shared them here as exclusives, that no one had known even existed.
I've finally reached a momentous milestone.
I only have one more PIL recording to share, then that's it, I've shared every single PIL/Sex Pistols recording I own, the good, the half decent and the bloody awful . Lol.
I still have a few recordings of other indie/punk bands to share, and I know a couple of people that record local gigs. So this is not goodbye.
I will share every live recording I have for every live band, even though most are not well known to the wider World.
PIL are touring in 2022 so I will hopefully get a couple or more gigs from next years tour and Yes, I will share them here with you all.
