Happy Holidays to you all

Have a fantastic Festive Season each and every one of you.

Massive Thanks to you all for continuing to follow me and for looking in on my humble blog.

2020 is the 11th Year I have run this site and I'm surprised I still have it running.

I'm getting very low on things to share from my personal collection and most of what I have left is pretty poor quality , but I've always been a completest and promised to share what I have with you all, for free.

So I will still be here in 2021, hopefully once Covid 19 fucks off I'll b able to add new things to my collection and share them with you all

Take Care, Stay Safe & Healthy

See you in 2021

John Lydon - I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right book pre-order now

John Lydon's new book, I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right is available to pre order right now.

Originally planned to be released to coincided with the now postponed Tour, the book will be released in October 2020.

Originally it was rumoured only the first 500 copies would be signed and numbered.

Covid fucked the Tour right up. The tour will happen in late 2021.

Awaywithmedia and John Lydon have pulled a blinder here.

The book is now gonna be published next month - 10,000 copies Worldwide, all numbered and all signed by John Lydon.

Plenty for everyone. But this is a one off printing, no second editions will happen, so grab a copy while you can.

The book is Hardback, 240pp, h230mm x w193mm, Artwork by John Lydon, in a clamshell box, individually numbered, hand signed, with screenprinted ribbon.

Please buy your copies direct from the publisher.

You will not find it cheaper anywhere else.

Previous experience tells me Ebay wankers will try and rip off true fans by grabbing copies and trying to sell them at inflated prices.

Pollypikpocketz - Lips Can Kill Tour - The Albert, Brighton - 27th November 2019

Last year saw The Lips Can Kill Tour hit the UK - 4 Indie bands touring together. Each night the bands would change the order of who appeared in which order, so all the bands would get a turn as headliners. The tour was great fun and a great success. Lips Can Kill two is planned for October/November 2021 and I strongly recommend you check it out. You'll have a great night out. Obviously in the current climate of Covid 19 and Lockdown in the UK its not definite the tour will go ahead.

Anyway I've been sent a recording of Pollypikpockets set from their gig in Brighton last year. I absolutely love this band.

A vibrant & colourful mixture of style, culture, sex, musical influence & facial hair all puked into one. Catch them now before they become illegal.

The whole band are lovely people, not only do you get an energetic performance when you see them live you can get to chat and have a laugh with them as well, they're all really down to earth and love a beer and chat with the fans.

As far as I'm aware this is the first ever audience audio recording of one of their sets to surface. So this is an Acid Drops Exclusive for you all.

If you like it check them out on

''Johnny Rotten forever changed music and culture in general. But once wasn’t enough. After the breakup of the Sex Pistols, John formed Public Image Ltd. (PiL), where he and the band continue to make exceptional records and tour the world. Through personnel and stylistic changes as well as adhering to radical ideals of artistic integrity, John has not only redefined music but the true meaning of originality.

Raise the volume to the max, turn up the bass and get ready to witness a ferocious life chronicled by current and former band members as well as luminaries like Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) as he recounts what he calls, “One of the best gigs I ever saw”. The infamous Ritz PiL show that turned into a riot. Hear from Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) about the odyssey he went through when he auditioned to play bass in Public Image Ltd, and when offered the job faced a hard choice whether to stay in the Chili Peppers or not. Other luminaries include Ad-Rock (Beastie Boys) and Moby. Most of all listen to John Lydon as he tells his story, in his own words from his home in some of the most intimate and open interviews ever filmed of the music icon.

With John’s trademark wit and unpredictable candor, The Public Image Is Rotten tells the complete story of PiL and offers a never before seen look at one of music’s most influential and controversial careers.
