I've had this recording quite some time, its another fairly decent audience recording. I'd put it in the semi rare catagory. Recently Marky Dread from the now defunct King Rocker Rocks On Blog, gave me some help in cleaning up the recording & seperating the tracks. He also put together the cover above. Thanks Marky, as always your help has been appreciated.

Chrissie Hynde Demo with Cook & Jones, May 1980
Dont know who the others are but above you have Chrissie with the 'S' on her bum cheek, next to her is Vivienne Westwood with the 'E', then finally Jordan with the 'X'.
Tonights final extra is just one song. Its a demo from Chrissie Hynde (of Pretenders fame). She was very much part of the London scene in mid 1976 that became known as punk. She even worked in Malcom McLaren & Vivienne Westwoods shop 'Sex' in the Kings Road, Chelsea. Recorded in May 1980. Cook & Jones provided Drums and Guitar respectively. The wall of sound is very 'Professionals'.

The Damned, 100 Club Punk Festival, 21st September 1976
When I posted the gigs for the 100 Club Punk Festival (the Sex Pistols, the Clash & Suzi and The Banshees) I got a good response.I have had a couple of emails asking if I had any more - I do. I have 6 songs from The Damned's set on the 2nd night of the festival. It was during this set that someone threw a glass which shattered against a concrete column & blinded a lady in 1 eye. It's alleged that Sid Vicious threw the glass & this incident led to the Sex Pistols being banned from the 100 Club, even though they weren't there on the night.
Anyway here's the Damned for you. I know it's a Sex Pistols etc site but this has been requested & it fits in nicely (if not loosely ie Sid throwing a glass during this set). It's a good quality audience recording.
Tracks:
01 intro
02 One Of The Two
03 New Rose
04 Alone
05 Help
06 Fan Club
