Here's the first or 2 nights in Brighton. the hottest night of the year. A great gig, packed crowd and the band sounded amazing. This ones a considerably better quality sounding recording compared to the second night that I had previously posted.

PIL - 16th August 2012 - Concorde 2, Brighton

In 2012 PIL played 2 consecutive nights at the Concorde 2 in Brighton, these happened to be on the hotest nights of the year. Both nights were packed out & John was on great form with the crowd. The first night has been widely circulated.
The second night has not.

So here you have AN ACID DROPS EXCLUSIVE!

This is not the greatest quality audio and the recording regularly drops out throughout the gig, although it does start off well. At the end of the gig, before the encore, the taper goes for a piss which you can clearly hear, and he even comments on. This is the complete recording including the very obvious toilet break

PIL's gig at the Knitting Factory was streamed live & Acid Drop's friend & fellow helper, Guttersnipe,  got up at stupid o clock in the morning (5.15am UK time) to record the show & share the audio with us all.

Recorded from a Live Stream. The recording is fine apart from around 30 seconds of the first track,

This is really loud and distorted, this is how it was streamed and not a lot could be done to remedy this.

PIL - 22nd October 2012- Minnesota Public Radio Session- The Current Studio

Another Acid Drops exclusive, not on any other blog.
Earlier this week PIL recorded their second Radio session of the year.
They were in Minneapolis to play at Mill City Nights, but during the day they popped The Current Studio to record an interview with Mary Lucia & 3 live tracks.

Note from the taper=

 This was my first try recording with the Tascam mic and iPhone.  I basically used the default settings for the simple reason that I didn't know what I was doing and the levels were obviously too low.  The results are listenable, but you'll need to crank up the volume.

Note: I cut out some crowd noise between a few songs due to a retard next to me who kept screaming for "Rise" throughout the entire show.  Despite my edits, you'll still hear him from time to time.  Very annoying.  And if said retard happens to be reading this, I saw your tramp girlfriend blowing 2 guys in the men's room after the show.

PIL - 29th June 2012 - Belgrade Calling Festival, USCE Park, Serbia

Yet another treat for you all to enjoy! This one is PIL's performance from the Belgrade Calling Festival at the end of last month- The gig was broadcast on Serbia's Radio B92 station.
In the file you get 2 copies. The first has been track separated & cleaned up by Guttersnipe, who sent it to me to share with you all. The second is the unedited version as broadcast on radio.
The only surprise for me was that there was a lack of songs from the 'This Is PIL' album.
So here it is- download & enjoy!
