Sid Vicious - 25th December 1977, Ivanhoes, Huddersfield

Here's a little something extra for you.

At the Ivanhoes gig Sid, Steve & Paul played a couple of songs together for the audience while Johnny was off larking around with the kids.
I only have 1 of the songs, so here it is. This song would go on to feature a lot in Sid's short solo career.

I've had the recording a while but in the last week Marky Dread has worked his usual magic & sent me an 'upgrade'. Its essientially the same recording that I already had but he has created his own original artwork for me to share with you.
I'm sure you'll agree the artwork is excellent - above is an example of what you will find when you download the file.

Sex Pistols - 6th December 1976, Leeds Polytechnic, Yorkshire

On this day in history the Sex Pistols played the 1st night of the Anarchy Tour. It wasnt meant to be the 1st night. The Tour was falling to pieces before it even started. Their now infamous Bill Grundy live interview had shocked a nation. Promoters were running scared of the media/public backlash and pulling out of their commitments. Out of 22 proposed dates only half a dozen took place. 3 recordings from the tour exist. Here's the first one.
For a 1976 bootleg I think this is quite a decent recording as things go.
Tracks:
00 interview with Leeds Poly representative
01 Anarchy In The UK
02 I Wanna Be Me
03 Seventeen
04 Stepping Stone
05 No Future
06 Substitute

PIL - 4th December 1983, Hammersmith Palais, London

On this day in 1983 PIL played the Hammersmith Palais. The 'new' band had settled into their roles quite nicely by now & were finally putting in some really good sounding performances. This recording reflects that. This is another one that I personally really enjoy listening to, I'm sure all you PIL fans will as well.
Tracks:
01 Public Image
02 Low Life
03 Annalisa
04 Religion
05 Memories

I'm really sorry but I cant remeber where I got this one from originally - leave me a message if it was you & I'll update this with the appropriate credit later (was it you John B?)

Sorry no artwork

By the way, when you download this it will 'have' 19 tracks, IT DOESNT! Some of the 'tracks' were actually just the crowd noise inbetween songs, so I havent mentioned them.

Rich Kids - 3rd December 1977, Gibus Club, Paris, France

Here's an average sounding audience recording. It seems cut in places, but that just could be editing out crowd noise by the original taper back in the day. I've had this a while now but only found out the exact date a couple of days ago when someone sent me a dated download with a photo of the original poster advertising the gig.
Tracks:
01 Rich Kids
02 Here Come The Nice
03 Strange One
04 Empty Words

Glen Matlock Live Acoustic Collection

I've only just started December's offerings & already I'm giving you a little something special. I literally got this a few hours ago. I absolutely love it & I'm sure you all will.
Many of you will know Marky Dread's name. He's had his own blogs, shared things with us & he occasionaly cleans up recordings for me as well.
This time he's surpassed himself. He's got together a collection of Glen Matlock acoustic recordings from various sources in 2009 & 2010 & put them in one unique collection for me to share with you.
I've not heard any of these versions before & I've not seen them anyway else to download either.
Check out his hard work.

Chiefs Of Relief, Janice Long, BBC Radio 1 Session, December 1985

Here's a real rarity. One of Paul Cooks post Pistols projects for you all.
There's no way i can butter this one up. It's definately a Lo- Fi recording. A tape rip of a radio show recorded back in 1985- so the quality is definately questionable. The trouble is there is hardly any Chiefs Of Relief stuff out there. I've heard of a bloke that's meant to have 2 bootleg gigs of theirs but he doesnt answer his emails.
##UPDATE!##
